Oh, no! She's not banging on about this again? Yes, she is. With no sign of food prices easing, despite a general fall in inflation, the Ealing Food Bank is struggling. We have had to cut back on how much we give each family and the warehouse has stopped buying some things altogether. We frequently run out of things during the session now. So if you could find your way to adding a tin or 2 to the collection box when doing your supermarket shopping, it will be going to a good home. Tins of meat would be especially welcome as the warehouse has stopped buying those in favour of fish and vegetarian protein. Thank you for reading. |
