| At the forum the chap from Festival Republic stood his ground in the face of some spirited local opposition, but as Julian says both the organisers and the council do seem to be operating within the rules. It's a tough call but these days cash is king and every oportunity has to be exploited to pay for the upkeep of amenities like Gunnersbury and Chiswick House. Earplugs are reasonably cheap and anyway last night, having dinner in the garden on a lovely summer's evening we could hardly hear the music for the racket from the damn planes! |
