In 2023/4 less than half of the NHS staff directly involved in patient care (42.8%) had a flu jab. The lowest rate since 2010. This is a ridiculous situation at anytime but particularly outrageous when the NHS is under such pressure. Should'nt a condition of employment by the NHS be that you have an annual flu innoculation? What am I missing here? Do people really have the right to endanger the lives of others in this way i.e. colleagues and patients? |
