There are lots of agencies who are expensive ut also lots of charities that would help too.https://getvolunteering.co.uk/organisations/volunteering-matters/513 try this organisation. if your mum does not need "care" as such but someone around as a companion this can be excellent and so much cheaper. I had volunteers from the old CSV they came from the US, Korea, Germany and all over England ,Scotland and Wales They lived with a woman in Uxbridge but came to me on 3 days a week. I am still in contact with some of them even now they they married and have families of their own. It was a wonder time until my needs increased and I had no where for someone to stay. |
