Some readers may recall the occasion in the 1960s when a whale travelled up the River Thames by mistake. He ran out of energy and expired just past Kew Bridge ... on the Surrey side. The story and a photo appeared in the Brentford and Chiswick Times. I posted the photo on the REAL BRENTFORD facebook group a few days ago. |
