| I last used the train outside of London yesterday, east coast line coming back from my parents. I have also recently used the M1 to get to my parents and a normal 5-6 hour drive took nearly 9 hours at an average speed of under 45 mph due to the ridiculous number of road works currently between Luton and Leeds. Of course the train is more expensive, basically 60% more expensive than the car, but if I am the only one travelling the extra cost is more than compensated for by the ease of the travel |
