| In any other context, a small puff piece saying how nice Chiswick is to visit would be unremarkable. However, because it says it is nice to visit by bike, the haterati are out in force to deny and to complain - several have complained to the council (yes, the council!). These people believe that a bike lane has “destroyed” Chiswick, that the High Street is a “pig sty” and that a bike lane is a “scar”. Not only is Chiswick a great place to live in and visit, visiting by bike is a lot more pleasant and welcome than visiting by car. |
