Absolutely desperate for some sticky tape today?  Have you noticed that some plastic milk bottles have sticky labels that just peel off?  You can use that under two edges of paper you want to stick together.

(Just listening to Marcus Brigstocke & Rachel Parris on Jazz fm with Christmas anecdotes "Mum the sellotape has run out."

It doesn't have to be a disaster!  Finding an alternative solution without having to rush out to the shops last minute can be very satisfying (and sometimes amusing) especially when it is reuse of something you don't want.  Initiative is and thinking out of the box is something we should cherish!
