| Ben, It entirely depends upon the class of drone being flown. The CAA have a handy factsheet to assist you before you start confronting people and making inaccurate assertions. http://publicapps.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP2012_EU_Drone_Rules_Factsheet_V7%207.pdf If the drone is C0 class, weighing less than 250g it can fly directly over uninvolved people so long as they're not a gathering and fly over buildings at heights of up to 120m or 400'. You can fly small drones and model aircraft that are lighter than 250g, or C0 or C1 class, in residential, recreational, commercial and industrial areas. They don't need your permission. |
