| A good pub question? The North Circular Road STARTS at the Chiswick Roundabout.. and ends far away in East London. It was a very dodgy Road in years gone by...before many of the dual carriageways (before MOTs and Drink Driving laws). The enlightening point here is that the South Circular Road extends from the South, over Kew Bridge..and along the W4 roadway to the Chiswick Roundabout. The old Bank on the roundabout was the finishing/starting line..(and Jocks Box cafe of course..all long gone!) |
