Personally thought Maids of Honour was awful when we went. Excruciatingly slow service. Sticky and wobbly furniture and food was nothing to write home about. 

Try Bonne Bouche on Chiswick High Road. It's opposite HSBC. They have nice cakes and seem like nice people too.
