From a Facebook post by Bob last month, we learnt that the new owner of his Glebe Street house "removed the infamous blue plaque and deposited said fragments into a skip.
Fortunately a passing Good Samaritan rescued this deconstructed totem of Chiswick’s cultural history and it has been duly patched up and is now back in action lapping up the salt-licked Atlantic spray and Raven droppings. ... I actually like it even more now that it’s battle scarred and has survived this existential threat."
