| I was told that Councils could no longer give permission for pubs to be turned into flats. The old Duke Of York, at thhe corner of Devonshire Road and Fraser Street, was sold off by Fullers 3 years ago, apparently to a Saudi who wanted to build flats thhere, and is till empty (though probably a few rats in there). |
