| Notification from LBH, (2 A4 sheets tied to a roadside post), of the closure of Riverside Drive on 24th/25th of May from 8am to 5pm has recently appeared at the junction of Riverside Drive and Staveley Gardens. The reason given is to facilitate highway works between Chertsey Rd and the Staveley Gardens junction. This action will prevent any vehicular access/egress to/from Staveley Gardens, Alexandra Gardens and the remainder of Riverside Drive. I am not aware of any residents receiving prior notification. I wouldn't know about the schools coaching students to the playing fields Could any of our local Councillors look into this please? Do the planners know that the three roads involved are all no through roads? |
