| Russell: You obviously know quite a bit about IT however if you were to take a look at something like planning committee meetings all over the country or just the MPs asking question in the HoC online you would find people struggling with the IT all over the country. It seems that it is something that no sooner have you put it in then it is out of date. It is time that Govts took some action against the monopolising companies who make such a fortune from this make-use for 5min-trash systems and made sure that they make their products more updatable, adaptable and consumer and planet friendly. Lots of people must have homes where they still have to climb a hill or go down the bottom of the garden to get good reception/an internet signal. It is even less accessible when the youngsters who have a better grasp of the technology and of the problems are isolating elsewhere. |
