Two young women have just knocked on my door having tried to get an answer at my neighbour's door.
They said that they had rented the house (in Bedford Park) through Air BnB and had paid a £1,800 deposit. They were expecting to move in today. Now I know my neighbours (who weren't there), and I know they have never rented their property . I am 99% certain they have no intention of doing so! They also had photos of the interior of the house (which I know are false).
These poor girls have just finished degrees in Nottingham and Birmingham and thought they were moving in today while they look for jobs down here. Their "contact" is not answering the phone (surprise surprise)...... |
