I don't live in the area but will benefit from the efforts of this residents association so another pat on the back for them for the substantial progress they have made over the Kew Bridge arches according to the newsletter this morning.
Mention should also be made of the Mayor Sadiq Khan who seems to have personally intervened over this, Tony Arbour the GLA rep and Liz Hegarty whose well argued lobbying was clearly most effective. Not forgetting ChiswickW4.com's editor who by putting into the limelight TfL's craven initial response into requests to open up the arch undoubtedly contributed to something that will make a significant difference to the lives of many people. There will be others who deserve praise that have been ignored so please post here if you are aware of efforts on this matter that have gone unacknowledged. |
