Absolutely true - it is a constant battle here in Isleworth Riverside Conservation Area to get anyone interested in protecting a unique location, you sometimes wonder why we bother. And Adam is quite right - not for nothing are English Heritage known to many as English Heretics they were absolutely no use to The Isleworth Society in trying to stop the Duke of Northumberland's plans to build over allotments and re-locate them into a Grade 1 listed landscape. A planning inquiry takes place in October.
