| Without seeing the material content, care label and colorfastness I would not suggest the washing up liquid and rubbing answer, without testing the trousers you do run the risk of removing colour with the rubbing. You would also need to flush away any "spotting chemical" and if the trousers are not washable you will be left with marks from the oil and washing up liquid. We're in our 50th year here so feel free to pop them in and we'll give you free honest advice. We have three options, Dry Cleaning, Washing and Wet Cleaning to choose from here too.
