Office Administrator for a busy Architectural firm

Full-Time, starting at the beginning of September (2024)

Location: Chiswick/Hammersmith border, London (close to Stamford Brook tube Station)

Salary range: Competitive and dependent on experience

Working pattern: Office working - 9.00-5.00, or similar

The Company
Stephen Levrant Heritage Architecture Ltd is a nationally recognised practice of Conservation Architects, Heritage Planners, Surveyors and Historic Building Consultants based in London, Bristol, and Manchester. The company was established in 1992 in London and is currently working across the country on high-profile projects, for a range of private and public sector clients.

Responsibilities
This is a diverse role with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing secretarial support to a team of 15-20 staff, handling email and phone inquiries, registering client and projects details in our system, organising events and co-ordinating business related reporting, initiative planning, event planning and capability development; to look after the office's premises, including acting as the main point of contact for our IT consultant, providers, landlord, delivery, builders etc; assisting Financial Director and Personal Assistant, covering when on leave.

Essential Criteria and Qualifications
• Prior experience in administration
• Have a polite and confident phone manner
• Possess strong written skills for drafting professional letters and emails
• Be proficient in IT as well as competence in the use of Microsoft Office package
• Be highly organised and have good liaison skills.
• Effectively manage their time
• Work well within a team
• Stay motivated and enthusiastic
Desirable Criteria
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite desirable
• Prior experience in human resources
• Prior experience in the construction sector
• Marketing experience

Training
