Paul Vick Architects is recruiting a Marketing Assistant with 3 years experience to join its team in West London.

We have a new role and fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to work with great people, make a difference and be part of the success, through developing the profile of the practice using multimedia in stakeholder groups and have an active role in new business development.

Located in a convenient, attractive location, this is a role for an energetic self-starter that has a minimum of 3 years experience in marketing. The role requires excellent communications skills, good visual awareness and is for someone comfortable working in the buzz of a busy office environment.

Your job responsibilities will include:

· Managing social media platforms, i.e. Website, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
· Press and PR liaison
· Commission and manage photo library
· Design, develop, create and publish regular newsletters
· Lead list prioritisation
· Event organising
· Research, organise and follow up leads for new business development
· Coordinate marketing channels and coordinating schedules with the director and team.


You ideally have:

· Excellent communication skills – written, spoken (F2F and telephone), and all digital mediums
· Be highly organised and proactive
· Self-motivated with experience of working in a busy office environment
· Capable of working to deadlines and targets
· Ability and take the opportunity to learn.


Technical:

· Proficient with Microsoft Office
· Experienced or able to learn how to use a range of office software (i.e. email/IT, telephone systems, accounting systems)
· Preferably proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign)
· Ideally, familiar with updating websites/blogs using the Wordpress and Mailchimp platforms.


There is organisation including:

· Liaising with suppliers, ordering office supplies and other materials
· Preparing monthly reports, maintaining general filing of invoices and paperwork
· Working direct with Principal

Desired Skills and Experience
The following skills are required:

Good design understanding
Good visual and verbal communication
Microstation 2d or ability to learn basics quickly
Facility with other programmes eg Photoshop
Building Control familiarity
Detailing experience
Site experience
Intelligence and ability to learn and be organised
You will be asked to demonstrate your Microstation ability.

Initial outputs will be:

develop design from pre-planning sketches
through building control checks (eg fire)
coordination with structural engineers and MEP engineers
preparation of Microstation plans
3d ideas
sketches for fit out
detailing of stairs
lift and other fit out and product selection and review
Duration: Project dependent

Period: 2-3 days per week; day length flexible.
