| Baby Spa Part time Swimming Instructors Required Baby Spa has been described as a nurturing haven where newborn babies can adjust to our world, at their own pace. The first few weeks and months a parent spend with their baby are exciting times. At Baby Spa, we’ve created an environment where babies can be calmed, are able to grow in trust, and build on critical skills and abilities from a very early age. Based on a lifetime of working with children, Laura developed the Sevenus Swimming Method and then went on to conceptualise the ‘original’ Baby Spa in 2005. Her technique has been referred to by paediatricians as ‘ground-breaking’. She fosters respect and care for babies while providing neonatal hydrotherapy and gentle touch from birth. The system combines appropriate stimulation techniques to address individual characteristics and different sensory sensitivities in support of the healthy development of children. She recognises that parental support is essential when a baby is born and trusts that not only the baby, but parents gain benefit from Baby Spa too. Currently operating five days a week, we provide small and intimate swimming classes for babies and toddlers as well as neonatal hydrotherapy and massage. Baby Spa is recruiting qualified and experienced swimming instructors / Massage therapists / Physiotherapists to join our beautiful Brook Green location in London W14. Successful candidates will receive full training in our method, both in and out of the water. The hours available are; Swimming Instructor – Wednesdays and Thursdays afternoons Personal Requirements You must have a passion for babies and teaching underpinned by your qualifications and have expertise in working with babies and children. We are looking for swimming teachers / massage therapists with a passion for babies/toddlers and relevant experience. Positions are available for more than one candidate - so please do apply. You must enjoy and have a genuine interest in the industry, a desire to add value to those you teach and work with, an empathetic nature and a very good understanding of babies and children. A positive and presentable person with excellent interpersonal skills and spoken English, enthusiasm, and good references. The Ideal Candidate / Swimming Instructor • ASA/STA Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate or equivalent • Experience teaching baby classes ideal • First Aid Certification (preferably paediatric) • NPLQ Qualification or equivalent • A fun yet professional person with excellent communication skills • Must be well presented, reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated to the role • A strong swimmer and enjoys working with children There is room for growth within our company so if you want to develop personally and professionally then please apply.
