Position: Qualified Afterschool Wraparound Care supervisor (Level 6)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 3.30pm – 6:15pm, term time only
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: £17 per hour

We are seeking to appoint an After-school wraparound care Supervisor to lead the after-care provision at Orchard House School School, Monday - Friday, 3.30pm-6pm. The role is term time only.

Our After School Care provider will:

● Register all pupils attending after-care and sign them out when they leave.
● Maintain a stimulating and safe environment for all pupils from Nursery to Year 6.
● Supervise, support their play and oversee completion of homework (when required).
● Develop an understanding of all the pupils who attend after-care.
● Build and maintain successful, supportive, professional and respectful relationships with the pupils in your care, as well as other staff working alongside you.
o As appropriate, know and respond to individual pupil medical and dietary needs.
o Prepare a snack/small meal between 3:30pm - 4.00pm for pupils in after-care.
o Ensure that pupil bags are stored safely and that they take the correct belongings home.
o Clear the after-care areas used in and outside the school.
o Clear and clean the areas of the kitchen used for preparing food.
o Read, understand and adhere to school policies and procedures, including those relating to Safeguarding, Missing Children and children not collected.
o Attend any CPD training which may be required to fulfil the role successfully
● Provide first aid to very minor injuries.
