Accounting Position at Frannan International

Frannan International Ltd are recruiting a Financial Accountant to perform and manage all accounting activities for their head office, as well as for a private care home managed by the same Directors. This role will be a chance to work across two organizations in differing sectors and includes the opportunity to become familiar with financial institutions across three different countries, as well as the UK health and social care environment.

The Role:

This role will be full-time, hybrid (remote/in-person) with a of minimum 3 days in-person attendance at the head office located in Chiswick, London, W4. You will work closely with the Financial Director and be an instrumental part of the financial mechanism in both companies.


Day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Responsible for daily finance responsibilities, working across both companies and responding to queries from clients, suppliers, project staff and directors, as required
• Recording income and expenditure using QuickBooks online
• Providing cash flow weekly
• Processing invoices, record payments, credit control
• Bank account reconciliation
• Preparing sales invoices


Periodic duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory accounts for a private care home
• Preparing annual consolidated statutory accounts for an international consultancy business with 3 subsidiaries/project offices overseas
• Preparing monthly\4-weekly payroll using Bright Pay
• Preparing VAT returns
• Liaising with external auditors
• Assisting with monitoring overseas project budgets and reporting quarterly to clients
• Assisting with financial management policies and oversight for overseas project offices



Skills Required:

- Part-qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous experience in a finance or accountancy role
- Previous Payroll experience – prior use of Bright Pay will be an asset
- Experience using accounting software – QuickBooks Online will be an asset
- High level of IT skills including Microsoft tools (Office 365)
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate effectively including cross-culturally
