Might be a little early using cat flaps. General ideas is that cats should not go outside until recovered from neutering from 4 - 6 months old. Hopefully the kitten you get is no younger than 8 weeks too but preferably 10-12. First initial outside access should also be supervised maybe from 7 10 months and then only alone depending on the temperament and the breed of the cat from then onwards. Kittens are just too daft to navigate the outside world from the off. I recommend petforums.co.uk for invaluable opinion and stories from those in the know about your chosen new pal. Good luck |
