The lake was mentioned on the Radio last year. A few fishing clubs were keen to take over and stock the lake and introduce fishing lessons for young kids as one of the ideas within the community. It was also said that John Laing was in talks with SKY as a proposal to run and support the stock of the lake and also to get kids involved. It was also mentioned that the Lake was to have a bigger approach to attracting wildlife for local schools to visit. Not sure what happened to the Sky talks. But the above was mentioned by SKY fishing man Keith Arthur who lives over this way. I think Richmond and was very keen for something to happen over at Gunnersbury fishing lake which involved Children than a purpose run lake by a fishing club for adults. |
