1) He's on a murder charge, not manslaughter. 2) 2 hours is absurdly excessive for explaining a judgement as to whether or not someone should be granted bail or not. It's not like the magistrate was making the decision during that time, and whilst I agree that a 'proper' explanation should be given 2 hours was completely OTT. 3) Your valid point only serves to demonstrate the absurdity of the lead detective in this case soon to be tried for attempted murder - as Susan says it's almost as though the 'justice system' is doing everything it can to ensure he gets off. If Oscar Pistorius was an unknown black able bodied person accused of the same offence would he still be out on bail ? - I very very much doubt it. |
