Completely agree. These childrens centres are very important but unfortunately some seem to target specific groups of mums (e.g. teenage mums, mums with children with learning difficulties). As such I think they are poorly attended and then in danger of closing. They could benefit by diversifying. Its a shame because the facilities are there and are free. Private companies are charging up to £15 per hour for a very similar set up and as Starbucks and anyone who has attempted to walk up Chiswick high road, there are HUNDREDS of mums that could use these facilites.
