| "I need the timing knob to have a pointer of some kind and for it to be possible to tell where the minutes are." Our gas hob has knobs with a thin red line on the black surface to show the position. Hopeless contrast. We use small bright (day-glo) circular stickers (about 4mm diameter). They need replacing from time to time, but if your knob has a large enough flat surface, you could seal in the sticker with a disc of sticky-backed plastic film. As for the minutes, are these semi-visible markings on the panel around the knob? What make/model is it? |
