| A telephone cable or cables were damaged by an excavator on Monday (not BT). A large part of Brentford does not have a working phone line as a result. This includes part of Windmill Road, the A4 between Windmill Rd and South Ealing Road including the Texaco garage, Enfield Road, Eastbourne Road, Ealing Road, Brentford High Street and many others. BT do not expect all lines to working until Tues 9th Nov. None of the shops, pubs, etc can use their card machines, cash machines as these all run via a phone line. |
