Does anyone have any views on the pros and cons of a mains connected gas central heating system, rather than the usual one that uses the cold water tank? We have been told that the system being connected directly to the mains will mean we wouldn't need to have pumps for good showers, but wonder if there are any disadvantages. (This would be for a largish 2-storey 4 bedroom house, so we would be having a hot water cylinder rather than a combi boiler). I'd be grateful for any input. |
