There have been threads about this on this forum before, and a good number of us have noticed aircraft getting on the approach path over Chiswick rather than earlier. I will repeat it once again: in the 11 years I've lived in my flat, many of the planes I see from my living room have either got an awful lot bigger that they were before (unlikely!) or they are simply much closer. My window is south-facing and I can clearly see up to four planes in a row preparing to land on Heathrow's northern runway by flying from my left (East) to my right (West). |
