Thanks. The trick is to compose them in a text editor (such as Notepad, or my favourite, EditPad Lite) in the font that it will be displayed on the Forum: Verdana 10 point (or 8 pt to simulate the thread listing as in this thread). Then, when it's finished, cut and paste to the message form where it will look awful because it's in Courier New, then to the preview screen where it looks slightly less awful in Times New Roman. If you're lucky (or have tried it out on the dormant Wandsworth forum first), it will appear on the forum as you originally designed it. |
