I didn't go but I heard a report from someone there that the agenda item on Cycleway 9 was a confused mess. No plans have actually been published yet. I understand ward Cllrs were pre-briefed about plans and convention is they wait until these are published but that obviously doesn't apply to Cllr Biddolph who leaked the plans to ChiswickW4 and began to stir up opposition. So the agenda item on the forum was added at the request of the Conservatives without anything published on what the plans are, hence confusion reigned. I heard that Cllr Biddolph was circulating a print-out of something or other along with comments by an anonymous X account.  I am sure Elon Musk, Vladimir Putin and thousands of Russian bots will be overjoyed that Cllr Biddolph is obtaining her information from anonymous posters on X. Other than that, it was an opportunity for the usual suspects to forgo Celebrity Race Across the World and shuffle along to rant about cyclists.  Chiswick High Rd is apparently a "Dystopian nightmare for residents” according to one. There's been a lot of recent TV and movies featuring dystopian nightmares (28 Years Later, The Last of Us, Dog Star..).  Surely this must inspire some local media-savvy person to pitch the idea of a Chiswick-themed dystopian drama to the studios?
