| We moved from Alcombe Surgery in n Ealing to Wolfe Vets in Chiswick High Rd when IVC(one of the equity based corporates took over Alcombe). Wolfe had just opened and 6/7 years on we’re still with them. James Bennett principal and owner, works between the Chiswick and Fulham branches with the Head vet at Chiswick being Alice Webb Wilson. We moved simply because we found that having a private equity firm controlling the purse strings, led to more procedures and more charges. Veterinary care is not cheap whether privately or equity owned but I do believe Wolfe are good at advising on costs and looking at alternatives when the patient has different needs, elderly, nervous, hard to pill etc. Good luck! |
