| The problem I have with this narrative Denis is that very little of the millions he has received in funds appears to have gone into security for himself or his family. While I agree that gratuitously highlighting family members for political advantage is out of order, it is not something new or confined to 'the left-wing establishment'. Recall what Tony and Cherie Blair had to go through. The question you should be asking is why is Farage wasting lots of taxpayer money by resigning only to stand again in a by-election. There will be people on here with a grasp of the legal position but it looks very much like to me that the Standards Committee were going to reach profoundly negative conclusions about the crypto currency funding he was receiving and resigning means that they may no longer need to release their findings. Whatever the case the idea that he is doing this to fight against the establishment is delusional. |
