Topic: More TFL disruption

I feel I must write this to vent my frustration and anger at TfL. Three weeks ago, I checked this weekend’s dates on their advanced service disruption schedule, as friends are coming to London to see a show at Wembley. There was nothing mentioned for either the District or Piccadilly lines, so they could take the quicker route via Rayners Lane, instead of having to go through central London and back out again. However, today I received an email saying that there will now be engineering work on both the District (between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway) and Piccadilly (between Kings Cross and Uxbridge) line and their journey will take extra time (for which their schedule does not allow). What is the point of offering advanced information if it is then going to change? Us passengers are really treated very poorly (to say the least). If we were train drivers, we would be brought out on strike over this indecision. It is certainly time for the NUP – National Union of Passengers – to be created, unless there is already one in existence. #TotallyFlippingLudicrous
