| I attended the fete today which was being held over the weekend on Acton Green. It was an amazing sight. A wide variety of stalls, a hugh funfair for youngsters ... including dodgem cars, big crowds enjoying the fine weather etc. It was a credit to the organisers ... and very worthy of being acknowledged on the Chiswick Forum! Oldies may remember the fairground that was held next to Kew Bridge 60 odd years ago. Honestly it was nothing compared to Acton Green today! |
