| Years ago a price rise in the pubs used to be a penny or two a pint once a year normally around the same time the Chancellor put his bit on. Then the local breweries like Watneys, Courage and Youngs either merged then got taken over by bigger breweries and the bigger they got the bigger the annual rise got sometimes even rising two or three times a year. The bastards that own them now are motivated by pure greed. |
