During term time Bath Road has always been a place to avoid mid to late Saturday morning and there is ample free parking in the surrounding area on Sunday so I think the first day of the weekend will remain the most problematic.
It can probably be taken as a given that should this building be converted into the proposed use, parking problems will intensify and life might get a bit more awkward for people living nearby but this would be the case for almost any alternative use of the building that you could think of. A children's club is perhaps at the relatively more benign end of the possibilities.
I didn't start this thread to encourage a pile on against the scheme but in the hope of an explanation as to why people, who presumably know what they are doing, are proposing this club when the demographics seem weighed against its success. |
