| There are quite a few councils asking residents if they need bags to put the leaves THEY have swept up into. In the part of Ealing I live in, most of the leaves have turned to a mush which covers both pavement and road and, when it rains, blocks the drains which leads to flooding. Whereas it's comforting to see that Hounslow is in the same boat as Ealing, that's scant comfort to all of us who have to go out every day and experience the council's inability to do even a basic job. |
