Thank you for warning us about the incident of dog attack in Southfields Park. Sending you best wishes for swift healing and moving on from this unpleasantness. Dog owners MUST keep their pets under control, so that they bring no harm to fellow citizens. Dogs should be on a lead, so that they can be controlled. If an owner has their dog off a lead and it causes harm, the law can be used to deal with the owner. Heat exhaustion is a factor for the pet owner to take into account, to assert care and control of their pet. It is NOT an excuse for the pet owner to lose control of their dog. Please report this incident to the police and hopefully this culprit will go to jail for a very long time. |
