| The British & Irish Lions (Lions) play their 1st Test match against Australia this coming Saturday in Brisbane. From the pool of 38 players (containing just 2 Welshmen) 8 (21%) were born outside of the UK and Ireland. Unlike the 2025 squad the 1974 Lions (containing 9 Welshmen) playing in SA contained no foreign born players at all. |
