Topic: Incessant noise from Gunnersbury Park

This has been a low level annoyance all day for me over a mile from the park and, according to the article on the front page, in an area where the noise should be suppressed due to the wind.

It isn't that much of a problem for me but I can see why it would drive some people round the bend.

I am actually pleased to see these events taking place in the park and appreciate the money is needed for maintenance but is there any reason that the noise needs to go on for 10 hours. The organisers try to get people in early to these events to boost food and beverage revenues but in practice most people don't turn up until much later so the noise is being blasted out to an almost empty park. Would these festivals look elsewhere if the park said they couldn't start until 5pm?
