I don't believe anyone behind this approach "hates dogs" I feel it is more about loving everything else :) Regarding the comment about foxes rather than dogs bothering ground feeding birds this would be unlikely. Foxes are nocturnal feeders when the birds are roosting. There is a lovely gentlemen in Ealing who has been tracking birds species across our local parks, canal and rivers for the best part of fifteen years. His analysis makes for sad reading and he has no hesitation in apportioning part of the blame on dogs in parks. He has numerous videos of feeding flocks been repeatedly chased by unleashed dogs. This is not an attack. It is a moment to pause and consider the welfare of others. |
