The application was submitted while the Italian Job was still in business which is unusual. Perhaps the landlord encouraged the other business to make these plans to pressure the Italian Job into paying higher rent. If so the only consolation would be that the owners are going to have an empty unit for a while. The Italian Job was a great place and a real focus in Devonshire Road in the evening. Hopefully it will be replaced by another bar. |
