A flood alert is in force for parts of South West London with roads and footpaths at risks of being submerged. The Flood Information Service has warned that river levels are expected to be high as a result of spring tides, and while "astronomical tide levels are falling" several areas of South West London could see flooding very soon. There is a possibility of flooding in the following areas: Putney Embankment Chiswick Mall and Strand on the Green Thames Bank at Mortlake Ranelagh Drive in Twickenham Friars Lane and Water Lane in Richmond Riverside and The Embankment at Twickenham The towpath below Teddington Lock https://www.mylondon.news/weather/flood-alerts-issued-thames-rises-20912140 |
