I use wax wraps - for sandwiches when I'm on a bike ride and for covering dishes in the fridge - excellent products and have a pretty long shelf life. A new set my son gave me for Chanukkah are made of Beeswax, Pine Resin and Jojoba Oil - apparently last a year and then can be composted. It says not for uncooked fish or meat - but I put that in glass dishes with fitted lids anyway. Lakeland sell a version too as do most National Trust shops, Kew Gardens and many other shops now. Do try them. Not cheap but so much better than cling film which I no longer need to use. |
