I think given the Chiswick Tower was built for IBM we're going back to Dr Beeching and Ernest Marples here. Harold Macmillan was PM, the car was king and London's population was falling. Times change, we can't change the past , only the future. If the current GSAT Secretary, John Stroud-Turp is elected as a TG Councillor he can start knocking National Rail and TfL heads together about improving access to Turnham Green and Gunnersbury stations. Should be a piece of cake, compared to what he's been doing recently. |
