I posted this in 2015, having lost a valuable item in the street. I just followed the reporting procedure (as in the current thread )on the Met Lost Property website, & it notified me of my local Police stations, no opportunity to post the details on the site. Are they saying that this situation has changed & you can now report Lost property at a Police station, otherwise why are they only giving me that information?
